Job Description
As a QA Engineer (Manual) at Web Neural Infotech, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive manual testing. - Test Planning : Develop detailed test plans and strategies based on project requirements.
- Test Case Design : Write and execute comprehensive test cases to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
- Defect Reporting : Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Regression Testing : Perform regression testing to ensure that recent code changes do not affect existing functionalities.
- Functional Testing : Validate application features against business and technical requirements.
- Exploratory Testing : Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not covered by test cases.
- Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and defect reports.
- Quality Metrics : Analyze and report on quality metrics, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Testing Tools : Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr for test management and defect tracking.
- Testing Techniques : Knowledge of functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing methods.
- Attention to Detail : Strong analytical skills to identify edge cases and potential bugs.
- Documentation Skills : Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teams.
- Basic SQL Knowledge : Ability to validate data integrity through SQL queries.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC : Familiarity with software development and testing lifecycles.
- Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications (Preferred) :
- Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience :
- Freshers with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance is preferred.
