Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer at WN Infotech, you will play a key role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software infrastructure. You will work closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases, implement automation processes, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. - Collaborate with software developers to design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications and infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our systems.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Ruby, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
