Job Summary

Web Neural Infotech is looking for a highly skilled Scala Developer to join our team and help build high-performance applications for complex data processing tasks. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that handle large-scale data sets, contributing to projects that drive innovation and deliver value to our clients. The ideal candidate is proficient in Scala and has a deep understanding of functional programming and big data processing frameworks.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Scala , ensuring high performance and scalability.

Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to implement and optimize data processing pipelines.

Develop robust, maintainable code for distributed and concurrent applications.

Integrate with data storage solutions such as Apache Hadoop , Apache Spark , and Kafka .

Optimize applications for performance, handling large data volumes efficiently.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to maintain reliable, scalable applications.

Document code, technical processes, and specifications to support seamless knowledge transfer.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in Scala and functional programming paradigms.

Experience with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark , Kafka , or Hadoop .

Solid understanding of concurrent programming and distributed systems .

Experience with data storage solutions, including relational databases and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git .

Ability to write optimized code for data-intensive applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience Level: Open to both freshers and experienced candidates.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with team collaboration tools is preferred.
