Job Description
As an SAP HANA Administrator at WN Infotech, you will be responsible for the administration, management, and optimization of our SAP HANA database environments. This role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and security of SAP HANA systems, as well as supporting ongoing projects and operations. You will collaborate with IT teams, developers, and business units to maintain high availability and performance of critical applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP HANA database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to database performance, capacity, and security.
- Perform regular backups, recovery, and disaster recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Implement and manage security measures, including user authentication, authorization, and auditing.
- Support SAP HANA development, testing, and production environments by providing necessary system configurations and ensuring proper integration with other systems.
- Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to SAP HANA systems in accordance with best practices and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business units to support data modeling, report generation, and other database-related tasks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and other IT staff as needed.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration.
- Proficiency in database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with SAP HANA installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes for SAP HANA environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices for database administration, including user management and data protection.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and other relevant administration tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP HANA database administration.
- SAP HANA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with other SAP modules and technologies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking as they relate to database performance and security.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
