Job Summary

As a MySQL Database Administrator at Web Neural Infotech, you will manage, maintain, and optimize MySQL database systems to ensure high availability, performance, and data security. Your role will involve database design, backup and recovery, query optimization, and troubleshooting. You will support AI, ML, and Big Data-driven applications, ensuring seamless integration and scalability of database systems.

This role is open to both freshers with a strong understanding of MySQL and experienced professionals eager to work in a fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Database Administration : Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database servers across production and development environments.

Performance Tuning : Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans, indexing, and partitioning.

Backup and Recovery : Develop and implement backup strategies and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard data.

Monitoring and Maintenance : Monitor database health, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure high availability and reliability.

Query Optimization : Work with developers to optimize SQL queries for faster execution and efficiency.

Data Security : Implement database security measures, including user access controls and encryption protocols.

Upgrades and Patches : Perform MySQL server upgrades, apply patches, and ensure compatibility with applications.

Documentation : Maintain comp

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

MySQL Expertise : Strong knowledge of MySQL server installation, configuration, and management.
Query Optimization : Hands-on experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
Backup Tools : Familiarity with MySQL backup tools like Percona XtraBackup and mysqldump.
Replication and Clustering : Experience with MySQL replication, clustering, and high-availability setups.
Scripting Skills : Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or Perl for automation tasks.
Database Monitoring : Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or MySQL Enterprise Monitor.
Troubleshooting Skills : Ability to diagnose and resolve database performance and configuration issues.
Compliance : Understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, or other compliance requirements related to data security.

Qualification & Experience Required

Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Certifications (Preferred) :
- Certifications like MySQL Database Administrator Certification , Oracle Certified MySQL Database Administrator , or similar are a plus.
Experience :
- Freshers with strong foundational knowledge of MySQL and database concepts are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience as a MySQL Database Administrator or in a related role is preferred.
