Job Description
As a Database Administrator (DBA) at Web Neural Infotech, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the organization s databases. - Database Management : Design, install, configure, and maintain database systems to support business needs.
- Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Backup and Recovery : Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
- Database Security : Enforce data security policies, including user access control, encryption, and threat detection.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Database Design : Create and maintain efficient database schemas and structures for new and existing applications.
- Automation : Automate routine database tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Compliance : Ensure databases comply with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR or HIPAA.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation for database processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Database Platforms : Proficiency in relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Database Tools : Familiarity with tools like phpMyAdmin, pgAdmin, or Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Performance Tuning : Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning techniques.
- Scripting and Automation : Proficiency in SQL scripting and knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell.
- Backup and Recovery : Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Big Data Integration : Understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Hadoop is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot database issues.
- Security Best Practices : Knowledge of database security and encryption methods.
- Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) , Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate , or MySQL Database Administrator Certification are a plus.
- Freshers with a strong understanding of database concepts and a passion for learning are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience in database administration or related roles is preferred.
