Job Description
This role will work from office in Bangalore in rotational shift.
. Install and configure the Postgerss, Mysql Mango databases
. Install, configure, and maintain highly reliable database servers for internal and Internet services.
. Find root cause and prepare RCA for critical incidents to optimize the system.
Should be very good with performance tuning for Mysql and Psotgress
. Handling disaster recovery activates.
. Perform database recoveries from various failure scenarios using either backup and recovery tools or the third party tools such as comvalut
. Build and configure new database(s)
. Performing security hardening on database servers.
. Implementing the HR+DR solutions
. Configure/Trouble shoot issues pertaining to mySQL and postgress with Master slave replication setup
Trouble shoot issues pertaining to mySQL and postgress with replication lag.
Find the long running quries
Automating the reports and monitoring for the data bases
Good with PMM monutoring tool and congiguration of the tool for alerts
Understanding of the azzure infrastructure and also Pass services
