Job Description
As a Graph SQL Database Administrator at WN Infotech, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our graph databases. You will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of database solutions tailored to meet the company s needs. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and experience with graph databases to ensure efficient data management and analysis.
- Design, implement, and maintain graph database systems to support various applications and services.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the graph database environments.
- Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery plans.
- Conduct regular database performance tuning and optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize data models.
- Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for data security and privacy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide support and training to end-users and IT staff on database management and operations.
- Proficiency in Graph SQL and experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, ArangoDB, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Expertise in database design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with database security practices and data privacy regulations.
- Proficiency in backup and recovery techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions and services is a plus.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with at least 1-2 years specifically working with graph databases.
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing large-scale database environments.
- Relevant certifications such as Neo4j Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Professional, or similar are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
