Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled BI and Analytics Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business intelligence solutions, analyzing large datasets, and designing dashboards and reports that drive decision-making. The role demands a strong analytical mindset, expertise in BI tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to address their data visualization and reporting needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions such as dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
Optimize data models and query performance to ensure efficiency in report generation.
Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse or reporting system.
Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software to ensure reliability and performance.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users for BI tools and reports.
Monitor industry trends in BI and analytics to recommend new tools or improvements.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts, including data modeling and ETL processes.

Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.

Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e. g. , AWS QuickSight, Azure Synapse, or Google Looker).

Ability to analyze complex datasets and create clear, actionable insights.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. A master s degree is a plus.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience for junior roles.
3-7 years of experience for mid-level roles.
7+ years of experience for senior roles.

Certification in BI tools or analytics platforms is highly desirable (e. g. , Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst).
