Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various stakeholders to design and deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enhance business performance.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Perform data extraction, cleaning, and transformation to prepare datasets for analysis.

Analyze data trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.

Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices for data governance.

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.

Train and support end-users in navigating Power BI dashboards and interpreting data.

Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, tools, and technologies to enhance data reporting capabilities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Query.

Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts.

Familiarity with ETL processes and tools for data preparation and transformation.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills to convey technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in integrating Power BI with other data sources such as Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms (e. g. , Azure, AWS).

Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance standards.

Knowledge of advanced analytics tools like Python or R is a plus.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.

2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.

Power BI certification is preferred.

Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights that influence business strategies.
