Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated BI Developer specializing in Power BI and Tableau to join our dynamic analytics team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing robust business intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights, empowering informed decision-making across the organization.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.

Data Modeling: Create and manage data models to ensure efficient querying and analysis.

Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for reporting and analytics.

Performance Optimization: Optimize data visualization solutions for performance and scalability.

Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to integrate data from multiple sources.

Reporting: Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports for various business units.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, reports, and dashboards.

Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau, including advanced features such as DAX, Power Query, Tableau Prep, and LOD calculations.
Strong experience in SQL and database management systems (e. g. , MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e. g. , Informatica, Talend, Alteryx).
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.

Professional Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Background:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in BI development, data visualization, or a related role.
Proven track record of delivering successful BI projects using Power BI and Tableau.
