This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our sales initiatives and drive growth in our B2C segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales strategy development, team leadership, and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive sales growth in the B2C market.
- Identify new market opportunities and establish strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the business development team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and adapt sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create targeted campaigns that resonate with consumers.
- Present business development initiatives and progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the business development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 8-15 years of experience in business development, with a strong focus on B2C sales.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
