This role is for one of the Weekday's clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement complex models and algorithms that drive business decisions.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover patterns and trends.
- Develop predictive models to forecast future outcomes based on historical data.
- Visualize data using tools like Tableau or matplotlib for stakeholder presentations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data architecture and processes.
- Translate technical findings into comprehensible reports for non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in data science and analytics technologies.
- Mentor junior data analysts and promote best practices within the team.
- Conduct A/B testing and interpret results to drive product development.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to inform strategy with data-driven insights.
- Participate in the development of data strategies to improve analytical capabilities.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing models and analytical tools.
- Challenge existing processes and recommend improvements based on analytical findings.
- Document methodologies and processes for reproducibility and transparency.
Required Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a data analysis or data science role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and modeling techniques.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (i.e., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn).
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to a non-technical audience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Experience working with unstructured data and data streams.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality output.
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices in data management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification in data science or analytics is a plus.
