Job Position: Busuness Head (For Freight Forwarding Company).

Location: South Delhi.

Experience: 10 to 15 years minimum.

Role Summary:

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Head to lead our freight forwarding division.

- The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry, with a proven track record of managing and scaling business operations.

- This position requires strategic leadership, operational expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement the overall business strategy for the freight forwarding division.

- Identify growth opportunities in existing and new markets.

- Ensure alignment with the company's vision, mission, and objectives.

Business Development:

- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Drive sales and revenue targets by expanding the customer base and service portfolio.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and vendors.

Operational Excellence:

- Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, including air, sea, and land logistics.

- Ensure seamless coordination between teams for timely and cost-effective service delivery.

- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team across sales, operations, and support functions.

- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Financial Management:

- Prepare and manage the business unit's budget and P&L.

- Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability.

- Implement cost-control measures and maximize ROI.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.

- Identify and mitigate risks related to operations and business growth.

Market Insights and Innovation:

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.

- Leverage technology and innovation to enhance service offerings and customer experience.

- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 10-15 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.

- Strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and freight operations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Proven ability to manage P&L and drive profitability.

- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.

- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
