SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES / DELIVERABLES
1. Strategic Marketing Planning
Ability to develop marketing plans tailored to regional preferences and market dynamics, keeping in mind long term and short term goals .Align regional goals with national or corporate marketing strategies.
2. Market Understanding & Consumer Insights
Deep knowledge of regional markets, demographics, and cultural preferences. Experience with consumer behavior analysis, especially in diverse markets , Ability to segment the market effectively and proposed tailored campaigns accordingly .for ex Durgapur cluster campaign elements can be different from Siliguri cluster.
3. Leadership & Team Management
Lead and motivate cross-functional regional teams . Foster collaboration between corp, local marketing teams, sales teams, and other departments. Ability to handle Crises with a cool mind.
4. Brand Management
Maintain brand consistency while adapting to local cultural nuances. Tie ups and alliances with regional brands for pushing cobranded marketing activities , for pushing customers and sales.
Launch and build Spencers brand in the region through 360 approach
Knowledge of digital trends in India, including mobile marketing and regional content creation.
5. Budget Management
Plan and manage regional marketing budgets. Allocate resources efficiently across various channels and campaigns.
7. ROI measurement
Understand the direct impact of marketing activities on sales performance. ROI measurement, Ability to collaborate with sales teams to boost revenue generation through localized campaigns.
8. Data-Driven Decision Making
Ability to analyze marketing data (KPIs, ROI, customer engagement) to measure campaign effectiveness.
Have to have a good understanding and reading of data . what why whom when how logic should be followed for every campaign
Use insights to optimize future campaigns and strategies.
9. Communication & Negotiation Skills
Strong communication skills to work with internal teams, external vendors, and partners. Ability to negotiate with media agencies, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
10. Event Planning & Execution
Experience organizing regional events, promotions, and product launches. Localized marketing strategy adoption for event planning .
Tailor events to regional festivals or local occasions to boost customer engagement , In Store & OOS
Should understand how to drive footfall , mall to store strategy , impact of NOBs
12. Vendor & Partner Management
Build and manage relationships with local advertising agencies, vendors, and media partners.
