Reliance Infrastructure - Network Security Engineer - Vulnerability Assessment/Penetration Testing (5-10 yrs)

Salary : 30 to 70 LPA

Key Responsibilities :

Network Security Implementation :

- Design, implement, and manage advanced network security solutions to protect the organization's IT assets from internal and external threats.

- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.

- Monitor network traffic to detect and respond to suspicious activities in real time.

Network Administration & Engineering :

- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of network devices, including routers, firewalls, switches, and VPNs.

- Ensure high availability and resilience of the network by implementing redundancy and failover mechanisms.

- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy scalable network solutions that meet business needs.

Cybersecurity & Information Security :

- Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and best practices in line with industry standards.

- Implement data encryption, multi-factor authentication, and intrusion prevention systems to enhance security.

- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

Incident Response & Management :

- Lead incident response efforts, conduct forensic analysis, and develop post-incident reports to strengthen defenses.

- Create comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network security.

Documentation & Compliance :

- Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, security protocols, and incident reports.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (such as ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).

- Participate in audits and provide evidence of network security controls.

Collaboration & Training :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development and IT operations, to ensure seamless integration of security measures.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide training on best practices for network security.

Qualifications and Skills :

Technical Expertise :

- Strong background in network administration and network engineering with hands-on experience in configuring and managing complex network environments.

- Proven expertise in network security and cybersecurity, with a deep understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.

- Proficiency in designing and deploying security frameworks to protect against cyber threats.

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)

- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
