Cyber Security Manager - Vulnerability Assessment (7-15 yrs)

Role Overview :

As a Cybersecurity Manager specializing in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' critical assets from cyber threats.

You will be responsible for conducting in-depth security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.

This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct VAPT Engagements :

- Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of various systems and applications (e.g, networks, web applications, mobile applications, cloud environments).

- Utilize a variety of tools and techniques (e.g , automated scanners, manual testing, social engineering) to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.

- Document findings in clear, concise, and professional reports, including detailed descriptions of vulnerabilities, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.

Cybersecurity Risk Management :

- Collaborate with corporate and conglomerate audit teams to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats across the organization.

- Conduct security assessments to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g , ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).

- Develop and implement security controls and best practices to enhance the organization's overall security posture.

Stakeholder Communication :

- Communicate complex technical information and risks effectively to C-level executives, key stakeholders, and technical teams.

- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, tailoring communication to the audience's level of technical expertise.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

Essential :

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a strong focus on Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.

- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and databases.

- Experience with various penetration testing methodologies and tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable :

- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g , Python, Perl, Ruby).

- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g , NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP).

- Relevant certifications (e.g, CEH, CISSP, GPEN)
