General Manager - Operations

Role & responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of both front-of house and back-of-house functions, driving profitability, maintaining high standards of service and quality and leading a team of dedicated staff members.
• Ensure smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant on a day-to-day basis.
• Manage all operational aspects, from kitchen and service standards to customer service delivery. Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring that all employees are performing at their best.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage the restaurants financials, including revenue, expenses and budgeting.
• Prepare and review financial reports, analyse trends and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure that restaurant operations comply with all company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• 12-15 years of experience in restaurant operations with a few years of experience in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Financial acumen (budgeting, P&L management).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
