Job Profile
1. Operational Management:
# Implementation, supervision and management of laboratory services project in one district.
# Coordination with district health authorities, medical officers and specialist doctors as part of project implementation.
# Supervision and management sample collection, transportation, cold chain management in all health facilities in a district.
# Supervision of home and hub lab tests
# Management of sample logistics
# Ensure the presence of Phlebotomist in all health facilities every day
# Mange the target no of samples and tests every day and ensure service utilization in all health facilities
# Responsible of lab operations coordination
# Inventory management and coordination with the labs and inventory department
# Supervision of performance of testing analyzers
# Biomedical waste management
# Attending customer complaints
# Maintain the service completion within the defined Turn Around Time
# Receipt of service certificates from all health facilities and submit the higher authorities every month
# Supervision of availability power, water, manpower, consumables and stationeries in all labs and collection centres
# Training the staff as per requirements and highlighting the need of training to management and QA Dept
# Identifying the gaps of laboratories, like manpower recruitment, training of staff and involving in their orientation programs
# Responsible for assessing the inventory and stock shortages if any and responsible for highlighting the gaps in operation to management
# To actively participated in complaint resolutions in and outside the laboratory if any from sample collection facility side
2. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
3. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, manage resources, and mitigate risks.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams to achieve departmental goals.
5. Budgeting and Financial Management: Manage departmental budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders including management, staff, and external parties.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Maximum Age: 37 years as on 01.01.2025
Basic pay range (For Fixed Term Contract engagement): Rs. 20000 - 40000
Qualification:
Essential: MSc in Medical Microbiology, Medical Biochemistry, Medical Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, MBA Healthcare Management, MBA Hospital Administration, Masters in Hospital Administration, Masters in Public Health, 2 yrs full time PGDMLT (Govt Approved) or 2 yr PGDM in Hospital Management or Healthcare Management or
4 yrs full time BPMT/BSc MLT (Govt Approved).
Post Qualification Experience:
Essential: For MSc/MBA/PGDMLT/PGDM, minimum 1 yr experience in Government healthcare related Projects in a supervisory level.
For BSc MLT/BPMT, minimum 3 years of experience in Government healthcare related Projects in a supervisory level.
