Fibre2Fashion - Relationship Manager - Chemistry Sector (7-8 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to join our company as Relationship Manager (RM) for building and maintaining relationships with Chemical Manufacturers/ Traders/Brokers and Agents dealing in various chemicals.

As an RM, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relations with a vast network of traders and agents in the chemical industry in India and overseas.

Your primary objective will be to ensure a reliable and constant supply of high-quality data and information from the traders and brokers and maintaining strong data supplier relationships with them.

This is an Individual contributor role that requires exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills, a deep understanding of chemistry, and an extensive experience in procurement within the chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:.

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the data procurement strategy for raw materials, aligned with the company's objectives and requirements.

- Identify potential traders, brokers, suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, and establish long-term relationships to ensure a stable data and information chain for the company.

- Supplier Management: Evaluate and select data suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to industry standards.

- Procurement Intelligence: Plan and execute the data procurement activity, ensuring timely availability to support data service schedules.

- Monitor market trends, prices, and availability of raw materials.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Chemistry, or a related field.

- A minimum of 7-8 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within the chemical industry.

- In-depth knowledge of chemical raw materials, their properties, and applications in manufacturing processes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.

- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

- Proficient in using procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.
