Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the energy or battery industry, with a deep understanding of Li-ion battery technology and its applications in Mobility. This role involves generating new business, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts.


Key Responsibilities :

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
    2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and regions.
  2. Client Acquisition and Management:
    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Key Accounts.
    2. Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
    3. Generate new enquires and onboard new Customers.
    4. Manage receivables.
  3. Product Knowledge and Presentation:
    1. Develop a thorough understanding of Li-ion battery products and technologies.
    2. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients and partners.
  4. Market Analysis:
    1. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
    2. Provide insights and recommendations for product development and market positioning.
  5. Sales Reporting and Administration:
    1. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management.
    2. Manage sales pipelines, track performance metrics, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  6. Negotiation and Closing:
    1. Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements and contracts.
    2. Close sales deals and manage the order fulfilment process to ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Collaboration:
    1. Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
    2. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and its products.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor is degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in energy storage technology are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the Li-ion battery industry or related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Li-ion battery technology, applications, and market trends.
  • Skills:
    • Proven record of accomplishment of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic sales plans.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
