Job Description

A certified Chartered accountant, or graduate degree in Law/LLB or any other Diploma with post qualification and/or articleship experience
1 - 2 years of post qualification experience in Indirect tax
Knowledge of relevant indirect tax legislations viz. Goods & Services Tax, Customs law, Foreign Trade Policy etc.
Experience of applying the indirect tax legislations in practical scenarios
Experience in managing assessment/ audits/ litigations for clients
Experience of appearing before tax authorities to represent matters
Experience of applying technology for indirect tax problem solving - ERP, data analytics etc.
Experience of representing the firm before clients, building relationships and generating business
Reasonable knowledge about other tax legislations, accounting, process improvements etc.
Ability to build network within the organisation and leverage learnings & relationships

Your career will be absolutely shelved if you work at EYq India. They don't care about your particular skill set or area of expertise, they just throw you in a client role where both parties would be clueless about and expect you to be the one to perform.
