Job Role:
- The Manager will be involved in providing objective advice, expertise, guidance and specialist skills with the aim of achieving the project targets.
The Manager will mainly work with the EY team to:
- Lead client Global Business Services (GBS) engagements covering Sourcing Strategy, Outsourcing Advisory, Location Advisory, GBS Operating Model Design, GBS Implementation, Program Management and GBS Optimization
- Design the GBS target operating model (TOM) for future state processes for various functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, IT and others)
- Identify gaps and areas of improvement / transformation across operating model
- Manage activities such as engagement economics and receivables, project resources and team utilization
- Lead the delivery / execution of high-quality deliverables and manage service quality, brand and client expectations
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Contribute to brand development by writing articles, developing thought leadership and point-of-views
- Contribute to knowledge development and management
- Demonstrate significant industry / solution expertise
- Resolving people issues
- Build a high-performance team, mentoring and coaching team members
- Support people development through guidance and feedback
- Ensure compliance to the firm's standards, processes and policies
- Contribute to the firm's initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and consulting operational excellence
- Manage senior external/internal stakeholders independently
- Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals
Professional Background:
- 8 to 10 years of relevant post MBA experience
- Consulting experience with Big 4 (preferred), Outsourcing Service Provider (Business excellence / Solution Design & Implementation / Sales) and Global Capability Centres (Process excellence / Transition / Transformation)
- GBS Transformation experience across Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, industry specific services
- In depth knowledge of current GBS, offshoring & outsourcing trends and leading practices
- Process optimization experience in areas like Lead to Order (L2O), Order to Cash (O2C), Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Hire to Retire (H2R)
- Experience in delivery of engagements involving Operating model design, shared services setup / implementation, process transformation, GBS optimization, location advisory, business diagnostics, business case analysis and planning, sourcing strategy, outsourcing / offshoring strategy, shared service transformation, design of SLAs, process KPIs and reporting requirements
- Should have worked in any one or more of following industry verticals - Manufacturing, Technology, Consumer Goods, Retail, Industrial, Media, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas
- Experience in supporting engagement sales cycle including technical and commercial proposals
- Relevant consulting experience with Big 4 is preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Business understanding of ERP suite like Oracle, SAP and other technologies like RPA / AI / ML / workflows / Function specific tools
- Working knowledge of process mapping tools like Microsoft Visio, IBM Blueworks, Celonis etc., different data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate
- Ability to understand client requirements and develop / customize solutions
- Articulate ambiguous client asks in simplified and structured scope of work
