Role name and description
Tax Senior - The primary role of a Tax Senior is to ensure accuracy of deliverables and supervise, develop and mentor staff. Also, they are required to help managers strengthen relationships with the client.
As part of the People Advisory Services equity team, you would work on global equity calculations and related advisory projects for expatriates from various clients. You will receive trainings from EY on the standard tools and processes before being assigned to the job. High quality, good tax-technical knowledge, efficiency and good communication skills are the key success factors in this role. The role requires constant interaction with the clients/external stake holders in English language.

Your key responsibilities
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge and a good understanding of equity taxation (ie RSUs/PSUs/SO).
- Take accountability for providing clients a seamless end-to-end experience across all mobility services ensuring KPIs/SLAs are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and supervise staff on tax technical, client service and engagement management skills. Communicate with impact and provide timely feedback to the staff on their deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with stake holders (internal and external) and providing high quality of deliverables consistently.
- Develop tax research skills, be up to date with new tax legislations and be familiar with various research tools for complex tax matters and apply them to specific client needs.
- Develop Intercultural communication skills which will help in working with foreign offices and other service lines where needed.
- Collaboration with Manager to support overall production (analysis on output, status reporting, quality)

- Effective communication skills by being articulate, thoughtful and adapting communications to target audiences; interacting effectively in person, by phone and in writing- including chatting
- Good systematic, numeric and teaming skills
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduates or Post Graduates preferred
Ideally, you ll also have
- Basic MS office knowledge
