- We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our manufacturing facility as an AM-DM-Plant Generalist & Learning & Development (L&D).
- This dual role requires expertise in both day-to-day plant operations and employee training and development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the plant's operational needs while driving workforce engagement, skills development, and continuous improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant Generalist Duties: Operations Support: Assist in managing and overseeing plant operations to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Staff Coordination: Work with plant managers and supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels and assist with the deployment of employees across different departments.
- Health & Safety: Support and enforce plant safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and promote a culture of safety within the plant.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and collaborate with plant leadership to implement process enhancements.
- Problem Solving: Assist in resolving operational issues, troubleshooting machinery breakdowns, and ensuring timely resolution of production challenges.
- Quality Control: Monitor and ensure adherence to product quality standards, conducting inspections, and supporting corrective actions where necessary.
Learning & Development Duties:
- Training Program Development: Design, implement, and monitor effective training programs to enhance employees' skills and improve overall plant productivity.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Develop and conduct orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring they understand company policies, safety procedures, and job- specific responsibilities.
- Employee Development: Work with department heads to identify training needs and create tailored programs to upskill employees and prepare them for growth opportunities.
- Performance Management: Support leadership in performance management processes, provide coaching, and implement continuous learning initiatives.
- Compliance Training: Ensure that employees are trained on mandatory safety certifications, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Evaluation & Feedback: Conduct regular assessments and surveys to measure the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting content or delivery methods as needed.
