Job Description:
Astral Limited is looking for an experienced and innovative R&D Senior Manager to lead packaging development initiatives. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing cost-effective and efficient packaging solutions, with a proven background in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead packaging development projects for new and existing products, focusing on innovation and functionality.
• Design creative and cost-effective packaging solutions aligned with brand and product requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure packaging aesthetics meet market standards.
• Conduct material evaluation, prototype development, and performance testing.
• Work closely with suppliers to optimize packaging materials and costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to packaging materials and processes.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives in packaging development.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Expertise in packaging development and associated design processes.
• Strong understanding of cost optimization and material selection.
• Familiarity with packaging machinery, production processes, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in packaging design tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree: B.Tech/B.Sc in Packaging Technology, Material Science, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree: MBA or a related advanced degree is a plus.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Candidates with a background in the FMCG sector will be given priority.
