Job Description:
Astral Limited is seeking a dynamic and skilled R&D Manager to lead research and development initiatives in the field of engineering adhesives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in adhesive development, knowledge of engineering and structural adhesives, and expertise in approval processes and scale-up activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize engineering and structural adhesives for a variety of applications.
• Oversee scale-up activities, ensuring smooth transitions from lab-scale to production.
• Manage approval processes for new adhesive formulations, meeting industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct thorough research to enhance adhesive performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and sales, to align R&D goals with business objectives.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, materials, and regulatory requirements related to adhesives.

• Expertise in engineering adhesive development and structural adhesive formulations.
• Strong knowledge of key application areas, performance testing, and industrial standards.
• Experience in managing approval processes and scaling up new products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree: B.Tech/B.Sc in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
• Masters Degree or Ph.D.: M.Tech/M.Sc in Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, or Adhesive Technology (preferred).

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Engineering adhesives, structural adhesives, or related adhesive manufacturing sectors.
