Store Officer - Paints

Job Description:

Astral Coatings Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Store Officer to efficiently manage inventory, materials, and warehouse operations at our Sompura unit. The ideal candidate should have experience in inventory management, procurement coordination, and safety compliance in a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.

🔹 Material Handling:

• Supervise receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts.
• Monitor goods movement while ensuring safety and operational protocols.

🔹 Procurement Coordination:

• Collaborate with procurement for timely stock replenishment.
• Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate supplier deliveries.

🔹 Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain proper documentation for stock receipts, issuances, and dispatches.
• Generate inventory reports, stock aging reports, and material usage reports.

🔹 Warehouse Operations & Compliance:

• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and optimize space utilization.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations for hazardous materials handling.

🔹 Team Management:

• Supervise store personnel and provide training on inventory management and safety protocols.

Key Skills & Attributes:

✔ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
✔ Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems & MS Office
✔ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
✔ Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and compliance

Qualifications:

🎓 Bachelors degree
📌 4-6 years of experience in store/warehouse operations
📌 Experience in manufacturing/industrial setup preferred
