Job Description:
Astral Limited is looking for a highly experienced and innovative Senior R&D Specialist to lead the development and optimization of advanced bonding and sealing solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of adhesives, sealants, and related chemical formulations, with a strong focus on Metlok technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive research and development projects in bonding and sealing solutions, focusing on Metlok technologies.
• Develop and optimize adhesive and sealant formulations for diverse applications.
• Ensure product performance meets customer requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct testing and analysis of new and existing products to improve efficiency, durability, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up R&D outcomes to production.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements in bonding and sealing solutions.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Expertise in bonding and sealing technologies, with a focus on Metlok formulations and applications.
• Strong understanding of adhesive chemistries, polymer science, and material behavior.
• Hands-on experience in R&D, product testing, and scaling processes.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in laboratory tools and software relevant to R&D in bonding and sealing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: B.Tech/B.Sc in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree or Ph.D.: M.Tech/M.Sc or Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, or Adhesive Technology (preferred).

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Adhesives, Sealants, or Bonding Solution Manufacturing.
• Experience with Metlok or similar bonding technologies is a significant advantage.
