Job Description:
Astral Limited is seeking a skilled and innovative R&D Manager with expertise in polyurethane (PU) and polyurethane dispersion (PUD) adhesives. The ideal candidate will have experience in independently handling product development, providing technical support, and a deep understanding of emulsions, dispersions, polyurethane, and polyurea.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle the development of PU/PUD adhesive products from concept to commercialization.
• Conduct research and formulate adhesives tailored to customer and market requirements.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers to ensure successful product application.
• Optimize formulations for performance, durability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with the production and quality teams for scale-up and process improvements.
• Stay updated on advancements in polyurethane, polyurea, and dispersion technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during product development.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Expertise in PU and PUD adhesive development.
• Strong knowledge of polyurethane, polyurea, emulsions, and dispersions.
• Ability to manage R&D projects independently.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and testing methods for adhesives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: B.Tech/B.Sc in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• Master’s Degree or Ph.D.: M.Tech/M.Sc in Polymer Chemistry or Material Science is preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Adhesives, polymers, or related chemical manufacturing industries.
