Job Description:
Astral Limited is seeking an experienced Sr. R&D Manager – Sealant Adhesives to lead our research and development initiatives in polyurethane (PU) and silicone sealants. The ideal candidate will have extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of sealant formulations and development processes, coupled with the ability to deliver innovative and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of PU and silicone sealants tailored to diverse applications.
• Conduct R&D activities, including formulation, testing, and optimization of sealants.
• Translate customer and market needs into innovative and high-quality sealant products.
• Oversee lab-scale experiments, prototype development, and scale-up activities.
• Provide technical support to production and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Stay updated on advancements in PU and silicone sealant technologies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to meet business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: B.Tech/B.Sc in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
• Master’s Degree or Ph.D.: M.Tech/M.Sc in Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, or Adhesive Technology is preferred.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Sealants, adhesives, or related polymer manufacturing industries.
