Water Business Development Head - Water Treatment / Waste Management

Role Overview:

- The BD Water Head will be responsible for driving business development initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and executing strategies in the Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, and Water Network Management sectors.

- The role requires a strategic leader with strong technical expertise and stakeholder management skills to impact the company's financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for expanding the company's presence in the water utility sector, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.

- Market & Stakeholder Management: Identify proposed and ongoing projects, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and manage bidding processes.

- Sales Leadership: Lead a team to achieve sales targets, ensuring business objectives align with financial year budgets.

- Technical Expertise: Provide insights into water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination, and water network management projects.

- Negotiation & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 20+ years of experience in Water, Engineering, or EPC sectors.

- Strong knowledge of business development strategies for the water utility sector.

- Expertise in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, and Desalination (MUST).

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech); M.Tech preferred.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and drive sales performance.
