Job Description: Sales Head (Designation: VP-Sales-Test Prep)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead and drive the sales strategy for our Competition Books segment. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the publishing industry, specifically in competitive exam preparation books. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the competition books segment.

- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, track industry trends, and understand competitor strategies.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and institutional clients. Ensure excellent client satisfaction and address feedback proactively.

- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, editorial, and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring cost control while driving profitability.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 20+ years of experience in sales management within the publishing or education sector, with a strong focus on competitive exam materials.

- Demonstrated success in developing and leading high-performing sales teams.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and data analytics tools.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

Industry Background: Any Education Sector/ Preferably School Book Publishing

Age: between 45-55 Years with good Health Fitness.

Location: Preferably Gurugram / Delhi-NCR (Exclude areas like G'bad, G.NOIDA, NOIDA). Should be ready to relocate if currently residing in the above excluded areas.
