Job Description

Head/Sr. Business Development Manager - Healthcare Education (A2B/B2B Partnerships)

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sr. Business Development Manager to lead our Academia-to-Business (A2B) and Business-to-Business (B2B) partnership initiatives in the healthcare education sector, spanning medical, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and other fields in India and abroad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales, a deep understanding of the healthcare education landscape, and a strong record of building brand awareness and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Plans
    Formulate awareness campaigns, lead generation, and sales strategies to achieve company objectives and expand market share in A2B and B2B healthcare education.
  2. Identify and Prioritize Opportunities
    Target key markets, segments, and clients to drive growth, focusing on building partnerships with educational institutions, corporations, and industry stakeholders.
  3. Lead Sales Process
    Oversee the sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, ensuring smooth transitions for clients and partners.
  4. Strengthen Customer Relationships
    Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and expertise to maximize customer satisfaction.
  5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    Partner with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success teams to ensure cohesive strategies, alignment, and optimal client experiences.
  6. Market Analysis and Insights
    Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to enhance strategies and mitigate risks.
  7. Reporting and Performance Analysis
    Provide senior management with insights on sales performance, pipeline development, and market dynamics, fostering data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Educational Background
    Bachelor s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  2. Experience
    Minimum 10 years in A2B/B2B brand awareness and sales, ideally within the healthcare education or related industry, with a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
  3. Industry Knowledge
    Strong understanding of medical education landscapes, trends, challenges, and emerging opportunities.
  4. Communication and Leadership Skills
    Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with the ability to inspire confidence and trust.
  5. Strategic and Results-Driven
    A strategic thinker with experience in creating and executing effective sales strategies, self-motivated, and proactive.
  6. Travel Flexibility
    Ability to travel within India as required, meeting with executives, training, and guiding regional teams.

  3. Lead End-to-End Sales Process
    Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting through to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  4. Create Market Awareness
    Implement effective awareness campaigns and represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and meetings to raise visibility and enhance credibility.
  5. Collaborate Cross-Functionally
    Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success, to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to client satisfaction.
  6. Stay Industry-Informed
    Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor movements, and market demands, using insights to guide strategic decisions and identify new growth opportunities.
  7. Report and Analyze Performance
    Provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and market developments, using data to inform senior management and optimize sales strategies.
  8. Train and Support Regional Teams
    Offer guidance and training to regional sales teams, ensuring consistent messaging and effective client interactions across different territories.
  9. Travel Flexibility
    Be prepared to travel nationally to meet clients, engage with regional executives, and lead training sessions as necessary.
