Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I recently went through an extensive interview process with [Company Name], which lasted nearly a month and involved five rounds, including the HR round. Initially, I was approached for a position in Noida, and after completing two rounds, I was informed that the role had been closed through an internal job posting (IJP). Subsequently, my application was processed for a position in Gurgaon.

During the fourth round, I was asked to attend a physical interview on very short notice. Since I was traveling, the company arranged a virtual interview with the National Sales Head. Following this round, I was informed that there were concerns regarding my team-handling capabilities and communication skills. However, they still proceeded with the final interview with the Business Head and CMO.

After the final round, I was shortlisted, and the company collected my documents for salary negotiation. A week later, I was informed that they had finalized another candidate. This experience raised concerns about the company’s decision-making process, as it took them almost a month to reach a conclusion, despite multiple rounds of interviews and document collection.

I believe organizations should ensure a more structured and transparent hiring process. If internal referrals and recommendations are the primary hiring criteria, it would be more professional to communicate this upfront rather than engaging external candidates in an extensive process. Additionally, shortlisting a candidate, collecting documents, and then rejecting them reflects poorly on the company’s hiring practices.

I hope this feedback helps improve the candidate experience in the future.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - 1. The absence of a formal invitation - The company did not provide any formal invitation mail or confirmation for the interview. The communication was limited to the phone call informing to come down for f2f interview. A formal invitation would have added clarity and reflects professionalism.

2. Long waiting time on Interview day with only few candidates - on the day of interview, candidates made to wait approximately 2-3 hours before the interview conducted. The delay not only caused inconvenience but also reflected poor time management.

3. No communication post Interview - After the interview, there was no communication from the concerned person on interview results. Despite following up via calls and msgs to check for feedback, there was no response from the company.

Overall Experience -

The entire process lacked professionalism from no formal invitation to no communication on feedback or interview results. If the candidate is not selected then too, its a responsibility to keep candidate informed well. Clear and timely communication is crucial for candidate experience and employer branding which is highly missing here.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The HR will arrange an interview where the company simply tells to ditch your organization by forcing you rather than doing negotiations and will tell you join within 15 days, also they want an experienced candidate. After 2 to 3 rounds of interview HR Rushali Mahadik will call you with her fixed budget salary figures which she won't negotiate. If you try to negotiate still she won't. She will make false promises over calls that you are selected just fill out this form and will send you offer letter soon within 2 days, but she will simply start ghosting you without telling you anything or imforming whether you are selected or rejected.

The hiring team simply has no respect for new joiners after going through such 2 to 3 interviews harsh Process and important point is giving false promises of hiring.
