I don't know what's happening

I recently joined a startup as an Associate Product Manager, and I'm feeling a bit lost. The company only has two people - the CEO and me. My concerns: - Lack of communication: The CEO doesn't check in on the tasks he assigned me. - No clear direction: I'm unsure what's expected of me. - No support: There's no one else to turn to for guidance or feedback. - Payment concerns: The CEO hasn't asked for my account number for salary purposes. Here's why I'm really worried: - I left my previous job to join this startup, so I'm without a financial safety net. - I'm afraid that the CEO might suddenly tell me, "I don't want to do startup anymore; go home." - I'm unsure if I should start applying for new jobs or wait it out and hope things improve. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? How did you handle it? Should I be concerned about the startup's viability or is this just a case of a busy CEO?
