Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I got a call from HR named “Anshul Saluja” for my interview with razorpay on July 28, 2023 and to be honest, it was my worst interview experience I had ever given in any other companies. I had prepared well for the interview rounds conducted and I was expecting a positive feedback from the HR. However, I didn’t got any call after my final interview round held on Aug 2, 2023. Whenever I tried contacting the HR-“Anshul Saluja” several times, I have received no response and one day I.e, on Aug 11, 2023 she picked the call and asked about the interview result, she told she has already received a positive feedback from the Manager but they are currently considering their “INTERNAL Candidates” and if no internal candidate gets selected, they gonna consider me for the job, will share the decision once the Manager provide to her. When I asked her if that is the case, why you have conducted interview for me, then she told during my interview time, no such was decided. Because of my frustration, I have asked her then I should get a first preference before any INTERNAL candidates for that, she told this is how company like RAZORPAY’S Politics works. So I have waited and given a call to the same HR after a week, she informed they aren’t considering me as they have already selected their internal candidate for the role and no vacancies available. After hearing all these, I felt really bad and questioned on my fate as even though I had relevant skills and experiences, I have failed into getting a job. To all job seekers who is gonna attend interview on company like this, please ask first itself to HR that “Is there any internal candidates waiting for this job role or not” and value your time, efforts you put in attending interviews in such companies like this who doesn’t even bother to consider external candidates(who’s with good experience and relevant skills)like us. I have now learned a lot from such failures like this and aiming big now, least bother about the RESULTS.
