A thorough aptitude test just like tcs one. I tried my best and cleared it. Just go thorough 'indiabix' website and you will be fine.

3

Coding Test Round

It was a complete coding test in which I was questioned about Data structure, SQL queries, OOPs concepts, and some programs like recursion, array reverse, min and max values from the table, reverse a string without using strrev() function, and some pattern questions. Yeah, it was a long 1 hour test but I cleared it because I already working in upskilling my basic information about above mentioned things.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Fun fact: The interviewers are sick of listening to candidates speak about their families, grades, and how strong you are in your domain. they zoned out in this phase of the interview ( i am talking about this from my experience that I have gone through multiple interviews).

-Pro tip: If you want a job, knowing little to moderate in your domain is more than enough. You get trained from the ground up/ What you need to do, is STAND OUT!

1) If the interview is in person, always start with a FIRM handshake, ALWAYS! This is how you intrigue them and wake them up from their previous boring interviews. (It will look daring to tell you truth but for me, it worked! )

2) Introduce yourself not with family names, education, grades, etc. But with your personal attributes/qualities/strengths. etc. This way you won't be asked to speak of your strengths later on which is a tricky question since it almost always follows up with rebuttal from the interviewers, and you won't be experienced/ prepared enough to answer.

3)Don't speak on things such as Brand Name, Work-life balance, Good salary, Growth, Job Security, etc. as a reason to join. You're in college, you know nothing of these things.

4) Speak less about what motivates you to join the company ( such as the above mention points), and more about what you bring to the table and how you would be an asset to the company.

5) Speak firmly about your decision to work and develop your skills/ core knowledge and not on things such as higher studies, or leaving the company for a higher salary. They don't want to invest time and money in someone who's gonna leave them soon.

6) Every fresher who applies to a company, at least spend 5 min on google to read through about them before the interview. Things such as recent mergers, top clients, accolades, and the current CEO. etc. And most importantly their vision and what makes them stand out in the industry. ( Even for myself in starting interview days I don't look into the company too much, but go with basic knowledge that will help you in many ways that even you don't know really! )

7) Speak in full sentences. ( when the interviewer asks you if you're hungry, don't answer with "YES", answer with "Yes I am, and I'd love to have lunch now". ) Avoid using umm, huh, ah, etc. ---> Take time if you have to in between sentences, but don't be too quick to answer they want you to think before you answer. Because at the end of the day it's just conversation, not an interrogation or something that you need quick every time.

8) Finally at least have 2 -3 questions for the interviewees, things such as how easy/ difficult it'll be to both learn and deliver at the same time, their opinion/ experience of working in said company, on what the company's expectations are from a trainee, etc.
--> Try to make a healthy and light conversation with the interviewer despite how your whole interview has gone because it will impact that you are not just tired from the interview but serious about the job.
