I applied via Approached by Company and was interviewed in May 2024. There was 1 interview round.
The first interview of group discussion was fair enough and was explained well, where the last round with the manager was worst as the manager directing was very rude humiliating. That is explained below.
The managing director who took my interview was very rude and did not know how to respect women's age. My answer to weakness was that "though I have weaknesses I'm working and improving on my weaknesses" also explained how I have improved on my weaknesses by giving some relevant examples still that the manager forced me and humiliated me to tell my weaknesses.
However, the interview he took was not relevant he had totally humiliated me.
My suggestion to such a person is to learn first how to take interviews and how to be respectful towards women and not humiliate the interviewee. Though the interviewee might have some gaps that does not mean the interview manager holds the right to humiliate people(interviewee).

Yes, I am familiar with SQL and can demonstrate how to implement the structure.
SQL is a standard language for storing, manipulating, and retrieving data in databases.
To implement the structure in SQL, you would use CREATE TABLE statement to define the structure of a table.
For example, CREATE TABLE Students (id INT, name VARCHAR(50), age INT); would create a table named Students with columns id, name, and age.

All topics were Metallurgy related
Heat transfer, Phase diagrams (very basic Fe-C diagram), FEM-based technical questions, are concepts asked.
Tips: If they look interested in a particular aspect, pursue it, and drive the interview.
Be ready to be grilled on the things mentioned in your resume.
For consulting companies alone (McKinsey and BCG), look at certain case studies. The book "Case in point", is a really good source.
For most other core companies (like Reliance, Tata Steel, etc.), refreshing Iron and steel and Mechanical Metallurgy courses will help a lot.

Experience: Some regular puzzles were given, which were easy. A discussion on internship work.

Experience: They are looking for people with good aptitude, very good communication skills and strong desire to learn. Also, someone with good academic record and clear career goals.
Tips: Do not panic in the interview.
General Tips: For GD, improve the content by reading and/or discussing among wing mates. Don't be aggressive but be assertive and ENERGETIC.
