Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Prepare for your core subjects especially the basic one which we use to study in our 2nd and 3rd year of engineering. These will help to stand out and score better in interview.
They have conducted one hour long interview bombarding questions from core mechanical background and questions from your skills too which you have mentioned in your resume.

Round: Test
Experience: General Aptitude Test, Technical Aptitude Test . 30 questions in each section. there was section wise cut off.
Tips: complete in time
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Questions: 90

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: Around 10 of us selected in the first round were asked to sit in a group and discuss about the given topic. There were two people marking our score based on the way of communicating and the points we were making.
Tips: try to conclude or initiate the discussion
Duration: 15 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The first question was to introduce myself in such a way that they can know all important things about me in 2 mins. After general introduction, I included my software skills and trips to other colleges. Then they started asking about Surpac and my project. Some were related to Shovel capacity. Lastly, I was asked whether I could live in remote rural areas.
My teacher once said "Keep the handle of your interview is in your hand. Once the interviewer starts driving, it is destined to crash." Take the interview in the direction where you are confident, be it your project or training report. Do not bluff there as it may backfire. It is okay if you say "I DON'T KNOW" to few questions rather than bluffing.

Tips: Be prepared for the normal questions and keep calm in the interview. Many interviewers want their candidate to be confident.
