Only job security no salary increment no promotion. They can hire freshers with better salary but never give a good rate of appraisal. Even a govt employee gets a good appraisal then TCS emp. Also 15 yr of cooling period for re joiners. Very bad

Politics of the Managers and leads. To make us work over weekends even diwali also

For starting a career and growth, TCS is not the right option as salary average is much lesser than any other company, Also appraisal hike is also not so good.Office politics is something that I think present everywhere.

The name is big, but they never thinks of their employees who have given his 10 years, my recommendation to job seekers, please do not join TCS untill you have gained atleast experience of 10 years and compensation last earned should be more than your expectations

TATA's compensation, you will never earn a good salary, they will show package increment of more than 50k for a year, but do not know which CA's team they have always your salary in every year will be observed increment of 500-1500 only. And biggest thing is they say no difference between IT and BPS, but believe me, they always differ, please join as IT expert only, or else you will be writing same thing one day on any feedback form. :(

...nt project my teammates are very supportive and the management is transparent. TCS policies are epic,appraisals are very fair to everyone and last but not least in salary hike and bonus they are very good..

Working at TCS boost our energy and talent with all the real time mentors and humble managers. Team work is an excellent experience.

Dislikes

The salaries and hikes are too low compared to other organisations. If the assosiate don't get satisfied with the work and pay then there will be dissatisfaction which might affect the efficiency of work.
