Manager was very supportive they encouraged us to keep on learning and give our best. No extra hour of work we need to do. Incase of any doubt my lead and manager used to help us understand every single details of why and how we are going to fix it.

Disliking aspects of working at a company like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) 1. The only thing I like about TCS is the brand name it has got outside. I respect the Tata Empire Other than that the company salary, infrastructure, internal rules inside the company are too bad. No promotion for the first year and very negligible percentage the next year. 1.7 % hike. No discussions on career, no talks about growth. Bad working environment and most of them are tamilians. They have their own group.

Dislikes

No fun, no salary increment, no shift allowance in early morning shift, no promotion, no talks with manager, we are left on our own. Very bad work environment. Infrastructure is poor. Overall a bad place to work. Work from office rules, reduction in Pay for not working from office. 10 hours shift with one hour break.

Likes

Work life balance is good. For managers and above, Variable pay is just as good as nothing. Consider there is no variable and whatever you get is a plus. HR process is very bad, they don't answer any question, you may expect a reply from Prime minister office, but don't expect solution from HRs. The assets you get (laptop, mouse etc) are outdated.

1. There are no other benefits apart from salary 2. 5 days WFO failing which they deduct in the quarterly performance pay. 3. Salary Hike is for name sake you will end up getting 30 to 35k per year for highest band. 4. No technical growth. Here most of the projects are like support kind of thing so there is no technical growth. 5. Apart from job security there are no other benefits
