...dedicated team within the projects ( even projects as large as with 300 people). Quarterly bonus is almost certain to be zero at 12+ yr experience levels. Old school mentality still exists in TCS, where wearing Jeans is a crime on weekdays. Male employees still do not get official paternity leave ( when needed they apply other available leaves)

...rs are like arrogant bosses, they cannot toleryone word against their decisions. Quarterly bonus is virtually non existent at 13+ yr experience levels

Job security and work life balance. Again, work life balance depends on project to project. But, at the same time, you will be able to change the project over a period of time.

Dislikes

Salary is below average and they don’t believe in making salary upto market standard. As per TCs senior management, TCS is known for job security and not good salary. If you don’t like it here , enjoy somewhere else. If you put down your paper, they will congratulate you 😂

1. No compensation/perks as per market standards. 2. They compel associates to adhere to the primitive policies made once upon a time. 3. Everything is translucent when it comes to higher management, no transparency is there pertaining to anything whether it's onshore opportunities or something else. 4. They follow a set hierarchy and pattern, you have to struggle to reach out to management and even though you would reach out to higher management no one is gonna listen as they have their defined set of rules and protocols to follow. 5. Client focused approach rather than employee focused approach. 6. You will feel security as far as job is concerned but you will be strangled as compensation and hikes are bare minimum. 7. TCS has 3 months of notice period but people tend to leave because of hefty politics and poor compensation. 8. No rewards/appreciation for extra work like recruitment or interviews taken. Nominal gems will be Provided. 9. For everything you need to go through complete set of protocols and rules, you might change management might changes but the rules/protocols are so rigid that you will eventually lose and policies/rules will prevail. 10. Leaves can be only availed after approval from manager. You will be scrutinized for taking sick leave and unplanned one's everytime you take any. Please do something to make the employee experience a better one coz it's gonna decrease the attrition rate eventually. Associate feel so proud to be a part of TCS just because there is so much of love and respect for Mr Jamshed ji and Ratan Tata ji. Please make people's life easier and convenient instead of messing up with their careers and future. Need changes in policies and approach to be more of employee centric and about their welfare.

If you are lazy and don't need hike, then you can join. Not recommended for who wants to build good career.

Dislikes

No hike until 2 and half years from joining. After that you get 4 to 6 percent hike. Very poor management. No support from them
