You get a good exposure and have many opportunities to learn and grow. They are not very good paymasters but while getting into company negotiate for a good salary. There are many growth avenues within company and the larger ABG.

Dislikes

Being a large organization you need to put in lot of efforts to reach to a position of visibility so that your efforts get recognition. Very difficult to bring change in existing way of working or practice, may be because mostly all people here are serving for a long time hence change is too difficult.

Likes

The annual salary hike and job security are the only two plus points of Hindalco. The middle and higher management specially in mines division lack any motivation/ focus for new technologies. It is good only for old people who are looking for a company to retire from.

Dislikes

The work culture is not very positive. The bosses look only for yes men. Any and all constructive feedback are squashed.

Excellent job learning opportunities, work life balance is very good. It is a good company to learn, develop new skills if you are a hard worker.

Dislikes

Salary structure, Appraisal system, Promotion system is worst in Hindalco it is man driven not system driven.

What I like about working at Hindalco Industries is the dynamic environment and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with large-scale projects. The chance to work on complex electrical systems, such as the 400kV switchyard project, and the ability to collaborate with experienced professionals is really rewarding. The supportive management and the focus on skill development through training programs also make it a fulfilling place to grow in my field.

Dislikes

...working hours or the pressure to meet project deadlines, which can be stressful. Additionally, navigating large-scale industrial environments often involves dealing with rigid processes, Salary , promotion which might feel restrictive at times. There could also be some limitations in terms of work-life balance due to the demands of the job.

Job security is the main reason why hindalco is the best place to work.

Dislikes

There is no salary benefits and no work life balance. You'll only get 1 promotion in 3-4 years minimum and the company culture is the worst. Employees only talk to the people who are higher than them in the hierarchical ladder and treat the juniors with disrespect.
