My experience with Capgemini has been excellent. In terms of work life balance, compensation, learning growth the organisation has always exceeded my expectations

Dislikes

...ies for retaining without any constraints. This will help in reducing attrition. At the end, the organization hires somebody with a higher compensation but the policies restrict in going to that extent for retaining a quality resource. This is general observations applicable to all organizations.

Likes

Work Life balance is one of best compared to other companies. They also gives ample time for learning and development. You get options for chosing projects and interest areas for workig.

Dislikes

Salary and Benefits isone core area which need improvement. Appraisals are quite low comparatively.

Capgemini has COE for the r&d work in new technologies like cloud, MI and big data. A lot of opportunities to learn but mostly at offshore (India). Sr. management is very good and have competitive thinking.

Dislikes

Less salary on H1B, not a good ratings, mostly maintenance & support projects, less growth opportunities.

Salary paid on time which is very important for any employee to continue to work with company and also the Training part which is also very all employees to learn as much as they can.

Dislikes

There is not promotion for some employees if they are exceeded 4-5 years or more which is not good culture for any company.

Likes

They just want us to contribute at all the level by helping us getting trained and certified.

Dislikes

Very bad appraisal structure and compensation benefits, you might join at high salary cap but within a year or so you will be under paid
