Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager forsomething after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world.....Read More

They will tell in interview that this role is for IC and make you to agree to the band which is lower than your experience level and after goin there they will tell you to handle team citing your experience and make you to work for 20 hours a day. Most people have become too much attached to Salary and their good Appraisals. They blame others for existing issues. Those who can fidht back are able to stay. So now its become a place for dangerous people only who can go out of way for doing unwanted things. I dont want to be a part of such environment hence i have resigned.

Lack of projects and HR system is worst. They simply terminate you without listening and understanding your concerns or requests. Recently there is a LOP (loss-of-pay) policy which treats employees very bad and even though there is lack of projects for lower band people, HR will not listen your request and simply ignore us. Wipro has many projects for technical support profile but the candidate should have been informed about what all things will he/she as an individual will handle. How much of in hand salary will be received. Is hybrid mode available for the project which the individual is greeting tagged to. Manager employee concerns should be addressed by BHR’s which is not done.

Infrastructure and environment are good. PAN India some times not suitable for peopelr having families and kids education.

Dislikes

1) Senior peoples are mad there (Not all few of them) . They are just becoming LEGACY in the industry. 2) People do not get chance to work on technology they are hierd for and experts rather they put down in LEGACY. 3) HR is a person who takes care of HRD. But they are just time pass there.

The bench system , even the management does not clear all the process with employee , if the project yet to come still they hired people and moved on bench and not giving them salary, WFM team doesn't respond you if you moved pn bench , there no clear communication with employee and management/HR they just ignore peoples questions

Slow growth in terms of Appraisal and Promotion. You need to really ensure that your Appraisal Manager (who is not your project manager) should be very well aware of your work in the Project and ensure that you are working well beyond their expectation.
