For engineers, job location is in remote rural locations. So anyone willing to join should be mentally prepared for that. Again there are only 3 stages of promotion - anyone joining at Assistant Engineer level will upto a maximum of 3 promotions. Also since it is a semi govt. organisation promotion is experience based and not merit based. Very poor training and skill development initiatives taken by the company. Also no contemporary software, technology used in the company....Read More

Job security - Excellent

Dislikes

Though job responsibility requires 24x7 hrs of your attention still it is manageable. No career progression scheme based on merit. Only 3 stages of promotion. No or little skill development initiatives by the company.
