For engineers, job location is in remote rural locations. So anyone willing to join should be mentally prepared for that. Again there are only 3 stages of promotion - anyone joining at Assistant Engineer level will upto a maximum of 3 promotions. Also since it is a semi govt. organisation promotion is experience based and not merit based. Very poor training and skill development initiatives taken by the company. Also no contemporary software, technology used in the company....Read More

Though job responsibility requires 24x7 hrs of your attention still it is manageable. No career progression scheme based on merit. Only 3 stages of promotion. No or little skill development initiatives by the company.

I have the following offers: 1. Exl - 24 lpa fixed + 12% variable + 2 lakhs joining bonus Position - manager 2. Infinite computer solutions - 30 lpa fixed 3. Deloitte - Still negotiating trying for 30-35 lpa I am prioritizing long term employment as well as personal/ professional growth as I have major family responsibilities coming ahead in next year. Please let me know your insights. Update - Thank you for all the inputs everyone who all contributed to the discussion. 1. Huge communication gap between Employees & HR 2. Maximum work rated to employees personal and official matter is done offline. So, an extra burden is there. 3. HR or management system is not so professional. 4. In Operation, type of job is fixed. So it'll be very boaring after some time. 5. OT allowance is restricted to a certainlimit.
