Though company provides good salary and wfh benefits, the job is always at stake especially for senior roles. It is good for beginners to start their career but not recommended for senior resources as layoffs are quite common here. Company is very hard in layoff, they don't even think of laying off an employee who had just returned from maternity leave...Read More

Dislikes

Don't join if you are the only earner of your family. There is no job security here. Not just because of recession, even if the employees working from long here doesn't likes you then also you will be laid off. No much learnings, challenging works here.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
