My life has become extremely miserable after joining This company I don't know how to explain it but 5 days work from office so the initially safe 4 days but later they make it has 5 days you need to come at sharp 11:00 a.m. in the morning so they will be a manager or is from master who will be watching at what time you do and that what time you go for lunch and how much time is spend in washroom everything and you are supposed to attend call that night has well and you are not supposed to leave office before certain time....Read More

Seriously, this place is extremely harrowing. After working for many product companies like VMware, siemens etc and even in few service based companies. I can clearly declare Vearc is the most Toxic environment. Vearc is a hell. If govt wants to punish criminals rather than keeping in jail or death punishment they can put them in Vearc Vearc environment is that much worst it exceeds that of hell. Forget about benefits, this company lacks basic facilities that any IT companies in India would offer. They lack employee centric vision No empathy. First when I read negative comments I didn't believe but now I'm weeping every day. Being an adult and even father. I need to take permission every single day even if I have to leave office 20 mins early. If u call sick then gone loss of pay. Regretting every moment after I joined vearc. Culture is too poisonous. Not for someone who is looking forward to grow or from reputed companies. If no job I would recommend stay at home and learn or wait until better opportunities come. But joining Vearc is like punishment. Everyday hammering. There is no job satisfaction. Employees are afraid to even talk or raise anything or even to suggest anything. Due to this fear any outsider asks any info on company, employees must only lie else they will track you. Life at Vearc: Daily spend hours travelling to office. Literally sit in zero facility office from 11 to 9pm You must ask permission from managers, leads and scrumaster even if u r spending more time in wash room. Go home late . Again take few calls. Work on weekends. Then on monday they'll praise few for working on monday, So shameless they encourage working on weekends as if employee is married to vearc to work 24/7. At last get some poor hike for n number silly reasons. You need to ask permission and beg managers and leads even if you want even 1 day wfh, Overall an extreme level of toxic work culture. Huge opportunity to learn. Most of the work is product development work and you end up working directly with portfolio company’s senior leaders in US. The company has a very nice culture and you can speak to any of the senior member including the CEO of the company. We keep getting so many CTOs and CEOs visit from US and France. I am told that it has increased this year and it’s so cool to talk to them face to face. I was scared to join after seeing some negative comments but I then spoke to one friend of my friend who is working there for last 1.5 years who gave a very positive feedback. After joining I found at least 4 other people who were worried like me after seeing the negative comments. I am so happy that I spoke to an existing employee and got the right feedback. Rapidly growing organization. In last 5-6 months team has almost doubled. Unique Private Equity setup where we work directly with the Portfolio companies' tech teams, and get to work with CXOs very closely. Although it is a young org, because it is a subsidiary of a Private Equity company, there is stability, and growth.

Dislikes

For me personally, the dynamic environment is a challenge that I like and I thrive in, but fast pace and "mission driven" life is not for everyone. So if you're looking for a 9-5 with no growth, this may not be the place for you.

I'm ashamed for joining Vearc and not joining a Better company. Or may be I must be ashamed for not being capable for moving to a better company than Vearc. the worst companies I have worked. The employee treatment is very bad. This is not a good place for IT employees. The mindset of leaders and management is totally different, They think like sales, operations or like bank managers, No technical mindset, not a technology company. U need to follow strict timings On top of that need to login when u go home and work on weekend and support the production. No complementary off. But they will praise u orally for supporting. No trust on employees. No additional benefit apart from salary. When fallen ill or during family emergency no support is provided, take leave or do loss of payment. More time is spent by management on micromanagement. Even if u need to go home 30 mins early, u must take lead permission. Extreme level of micromanagement. No basic term life benefits or parental. Poor leave policy. Salary hikes are not good, in the beginning they were , now once they hired lot of people hikes are below standards. the worst company I ever came across, They do not have projects firing after 3 months, one cannot stay more than an year or two. Poor hikes

The salary hikes are minimal, and the work environment is akin to a school, requiring permission for short breaks. The extreme micromanagement is stressful, and there are very few leaves. Basic insurance, tax-saving options, cab services, and medical facilities are all lacking. Broadband bills are not reimbursed. Labor department, please help.
